Police in Bali on terrorist watch for climate meeting

Denpasar, 20 Nov. (AKI) – Indonesia’s anti-terror squad, Detachment 88, has provided details of the country’s most wanted terrorists to Bali police, ahead of an international climate conference to be held on the island in December.

The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change will take place on the island from 3 to 14 December.

Deputy police chief, Denny Setya Nugraha Nasutio, said the list contained information about the network of Noordin Mohammad Top, the fugitive Malaysian terrorist believed to be the leader of the most lethal splinter group of the Jemaah Islamiyah (JI).
